Who doesn't love the calming vibes of the ocean and the beauty of seashells? If you're like me and love all sea things, then this DIY project may give you some ideas. Today, we're making a three-color ocean shell wax seal that looks absolutely stunning—no paint required! All we need is some deep blue, brown, and white sealing wax.
And these materials:
A silicone mat
A small spatula
Scissors
Tweezers
A wax seal stamp with shells design
Now, everything is ready, let's start making sea shell wax seals.
First, melt the brown wax and pour it onto a silicone mat. Use a spatula to spread it into a thin, long sheet. Cut the brown wax sheet into tiny strips with the scissors.
Then, melt the white sealing wax and pour it onto the silicone mat. Use tweezers to put the small brown wax strips onto the white wax, to create a shell texture color.
After that, let's press the wax seal stamp onto the wax. A two-tone wax seal with a raised, textured shell design is done.
Next, use a spatula to trim away any excess white wax around the shell. Melt the deep blue wax and pour it onto the silicone mat. Press the wax seal stamp with the white and brown wax shells onto the blue wax.
A gorgeous wax seal featuring a deep blue background, white shells, and delicate brown patterns is finished.
This unique three-color wax seal adds a touch of the ocean to letters, invitations, or gift packages. It's a fun and creative way to bring some seaside charm into craft projects.
