How does it become a decoration? In this blog post, I'll share how to make a tray of cream-filled cookie wax seals using a custom wax seal stamp.
Before making wax seals, we need to custom a wax stamp.
First, design the cookie pattern, and send it to an online store like SealingWaxStamp to customize a wax seal stamp. The stamp head is brass material, and the handle is wood, which is for easy gripping and creating wax seals.
Next step is to pick the black, cream and brown sealing wax, we are going to make Cream Sandwich Cookies.
And we also need to prepare the melting tool, such as a wax furnace, and a tray for displaying the wax cookies.
Now, everything is ready, we can start to create cookie wax seals.
Making black wax seals:
- Heat the black sealing wax.
- Pour the melted black wax onto a clean, flat surface.
- Press the custom wax seal stamp into it.
- Wait a few seconds.
- Remove the wax seal stamp, a black wax seal with the cookie pattern is done
Follow this method, we can make more black wax seals.
Adding Cream Filling
- Place the black wax seal face down.
- Pour a layer of melted cream-colored wax on the back of the black wax seal.
- Press another plain black wax seal on top.
